Dorothy Lee Britton

Dorothy Lee “Dottie” Britton, 89, was a humble servant of the Gospel whose life was defined by faith and discipleship. After accepting Christ at a Youth for Christ meeting in her teens, God gave her a love for the Word of God early on that grew until she passed. Dottie passionately shared God’s Word, leading Sunday school, Child Evangelism Good News Clubs, and Bible studies while discipling  others. Her commitment to ministry extended into her role as a counselor at Immanuel Bible Church, where she spiritually invested in women for 25 years. Even in her later years, she remained a vibrant part of the church, leading Bible studies and sharing her faith. Her legacy of love for Jesus and intentionality to teaching and discipleship continues to inspire her family and community.
 
A Celebration of Life Service is scheduled for January 12, 2026 at 11 am EST at Immanuel Bible Church in Springfield, Virginia.
