In January, SportsLife Leadership executives Dan Britton and Jimmy Page surpassed a milestone of one million Bible Plan completions on the YouVersion Bible App.

Launched in 2008 as a ministry of Life.Church, YouVersion was one of the first apps on Apple’s App Store. Initially featuring the Bible in a limited number of versions, it has grown to include over 3,700 translations in more than 2,400 languages.

In November 2025, YouVersion celebrated one billion installs worldwide and reported that on the first Sunday in January 2026, over 22 million people used the app in a single day. The app offers thousands of Bible Plans from independent authors, churches, and ministries, with multi-day devotionals ranging from three days to a year.

Britton and Page began their partnership with YouVersion in December 2013 with a four-day devotional based on their book, One Word That Will Change Your Life. They recognized an opportunity to make their content more accessible through YouVersion.

“You often don’t know who reads the book after purchase,” Page explained. “But with YouVersion Bible Plans, we can see people are reading and completing the content. It’s a blessing to know our material is impacting lives.”

Since joining YouVersion, Britton and Page have added eight more Bible Plans, including devotionals based on Wisdom Walks, Life Word, True Competitor, and Called To Greatness. Their plans have seen 1.6 million subscriptions, and of the one million plan completions, the devotional for One Word That Will Change Your Life (in 60 languages) leads with over 750,000 completions. Their content has reached nearly every country and territory, with the U.S., Brazil, Germany, South Africa, and Canada as the top five.

Using this momentum, Britton and Page are developing additional Bible Plans for SportsLife Leadership.

“What we learned to get a million completions serves as a catalyst,” Page said. “It refines our process and helps us better reach the sports leadership community.”

They are creating multi-language Bible Plans for resources like SportsLife Wrestling’s Faith On The Mat, targeting communities in Faith RXD (CrossFit) and jiu-jitsu.

As these plans are released, SportsLife leaders will use them for training sessions and Bible studies.

“We’re building a network of certified SportsLife Leaders who can produce content for us,” Page explained. “This expands our ability to create plans beyond just Dan and me.”
