2025 Year in Review

As we step into 2026, SportsLife Leadership reflects on an extraordinary journey during our first full year of operation in 2025.

President Dan Britton shares, “This is God’s miraculous vision birthed for such a time as this. The need for spiritual leadership in sports is undeniable, with a growing hunger evident not just in the United States but around the world.”

2025 Highlights

• 161 faith decisions made
• 1,133 Bibles distributed
• 29 events hosted
• 3,863 people reached across 20 countries
• 997,177 YouVersion plans completed
• Team expanded to 30 dedicated staff members across five nations: Brazil, Ghana, Greece, India, and the U.S.

Britton emphasizes that while outreach is essential, the core mission is leadership development. “We aim to cultivate Christ-centered and discipleship-driven sports leaders. What does a godly leader look like in sports? Is it enough to kneel at midfield or point skyward after a score? We’re here to ensure that those who lead in sports respond to challenges with godly principles.”

Chief Sports Officer Carl Perry reflects on 2025 as a year of clarity that sets the stage for future endeavors. “My focus for 2026 is ‘assignment.’ I have a specific mission to build support communities for Kingdom impact. Last year provided the clarity needed to execute that vision, and I believe we’ll see increased engagement in our three sport communities studying God’s Word through Bible studies called LifeGroups.”

Echoing this sentiment, Britton anticipates exponential growth at SportsLife Leadership throughout 2026. “With our sports-specific focus, we’re adopting a special forces approach, delivering training, resources, and events tailored to each sport’s culture. We aim to train the heart, equip the hands, and mobilize the feet of leaders to create significant impact in their communities.”
